Heb je een vraag over onze lessen, abonnementen of bereikbaarheid? Hier vind je snel antwoord op de meest gestelde vragen. Staat jouw vraag er niet tussen? Neem gerust contact met ons op, we helpen je graag verder!

  • Moet ik me afmelden voor een les als ik niet kan komen?
    Het kan altijd voorkomen dat je een les niet kunt bijwonen. Meld je dan ruim van tevoren af via de app, zodat iemand van de wachtlijst jouw plek kan overnemen. Je kunt de les op een ander moment inhalen. Let op: annuleer je binnen 2 uur voor aanvang van de les? Dan wordt deze alsnog van je abonnement afgeschreven.
  • Worden lessen ook weleens geannuleerd?
    Lessen gaan alleen door bij minimaal 4 deelnemers. Meldden zich te weinig mensen aan? Dan annuleren we de les. Je ontvangt automatisch een annulering 6 uur voor de les, zodat je nog een andere les kunt boeken.
  • Waar moet ik aan denken voor ik naar de les kom?
    Kom op tijd We raden je aan 15 minuten van tevuren aanwezig te zijn. Zo kun je rustig landen en je optimaal voorbereiden. Wat neem je mee? Comfortabele kleding waarin je vrij kunt bewegen Een flesje water (en eventueel je eigen yogahanddoek) Yoga doen we op blote voeten of met antislipsokken Hygiëne & sfeer Laat je schoenen achter in de ontvangstruimte De yogaruimte betreden we alleen op blote voeten of met sokken Telefoon uit of op vliegtuigmodus – dit is jouw moment om helemaal te ontspannen
  • Hoe werkt mijn abonnement tijdens vakanties?
    Bij Studio Namaste geloven we in flexibiliteit. Je bent niet gebonden aan vaste lessen of tijden – binnen je maandabonnement bepaal je helemaal zelf wanneer en hoe vaak je komt. We hanteren een opzegtermijn van één kalendermaand. Hoewel je technisch gezien tijdens een vakantie kunt opzeggen en later opnieuw kunt aanmelden, rekenen we op je begrip. Onze studio blijft immers gewoon open, met dezelfde vaste lasten. Daarom is ons maandbedrag zo opgebouwd dat er ruimte is voor ongeveer acht weken vakantie of ziekte per jaar. Zo kunnen we de kwaliteit waarborgen, terwijl jij de vrijheid houdt. Samen zorgen we voor een bloeiende yogacommunity waar iedereen van kan genieten , ook na jouw vakantie.
  • Twijfel je of je mee kunt doen aan een les?
    Bij yoga mag een houding nooit pijn doen. Onze docenten kunnen altijd een aangepaste versie van een houding geven, bijvoorbeeld bij: Blessures Zwangerschap Medische overwegingen Let op: Het volgen van een les is altijd op eigen risico. Bij twijfel? Heb je klachten, blessures of medische overwegingen? Overleg dan altijd eerst met: De yogadocent én Je huisarts of zorgprofessional Zwanger? Laat dit altijd even weten aan de docent. Hij/zij kan dan rekening houden met geschikte houdingen voor jouw lichaam.
  • Zomerrooster & lesaanbod
    Goed nieuws! Onze studio blijft gewoon open tijdens de zomervakantie. Wat kun je verwachten? Aangepast rooster met lessen van: Maandag t/m zondagochtend Maandag t/m vrijdagavond Minimale bezetting van 4 deelnemers per les Bij annulering: Meldt zich onverhoopt te weinig aan? Dan: Ontvang je minimaal 6 uur van tevoren een bericht Kun je direct een alternatieve les boeken Tip voor zorgeloos yogaën: Plan je lessen tijdens de vakantieperiode iets verder vooruit, zo geniet je onbezorgd van je practice!

  • What does a typical weekend training block look like?
    Each weekend block consists of 3 days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each block is dedicated to a specific topic in the curriculum. Every day we start with a yoga class led by the trainers, lectures and workshops. There are breaks for lunch and dinner. Topics covered include teaching methodology, yoga history and philosophy, anatomy and physiology, and business skills. Classes are interactive, allowing for questions and practical application. Each day concludes with gentle yoga class and a closing circle for summarizing the day's learnings and further exploration.
  • Why should I choose this Yoga Teacher Training?
    Nowadays, there are so many different Yoga Teacher Training programmes to choose from it can be hard to know what is the best choice for you. A couple of unique strengths that The Yoga Therapy Institute’s 200 hour YTT offers are: Small-scale groups. We only take a maximum of 15 trainees per in-person training. This means you will receive plenty of individual attention, and have much more opportunity to practice your teaching skills compared to other yoga teacher trainings. You will also have the chance to ask more questions, discuss more topics that pique your interest, and develop a close relationship with your trainers and fellow trainees. World-class faculty. Our faculty only consists of certified Yoga Therapists, meaning they have completed over 800 hours of additional study to the average yoga teacher trainer. You will start your yoga teacher journey learning from trainers who implement a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach into all of the work they do. Our trainers not only teach yoga, but also present at hospitals and universities about the importance of yoga. They work one-on-one with individuals dealing with a wide range of illnesses and challenges, and they offer specialized workshops in their areas of expertise. A trauma-informed approach. This is one of the only YTTs in the world that infuses a trauma-informed perspective into all aspects of the training. And the learnings from this style of teaching are highly applicable in our modern-day life, where trauma and chronic stress are experienced by almost everybody. Your future students will not only appreciate your in-depth understanding of yoga, but also HOW you share this knowledge with them.
  • What is included in the price?
    The price mentioned on the website includes 7 weekends of in-person training & 7 online sessions totaling 200+ hours of face-to-face and livestream training. You'll receive a printed Student Manual and an RYT Certificate from Yoga Alliance upon completion. Accommodation, meals, transport/Flights and airport transfers are not included. We can however negotiate discounted accommodation by several accommodations in the area, feel free to ask about the possibilities during your call.
  • Do you offer refunds?
    The deposit for this training is non-refundable.
  • How does this teacher training differ from other yoga teacher trainings?
    Our training blends spiritual and scientific approaches, combining ancient wisdom with modern understanding of the mind and body. It emphasizes a trauma-informed approach, essential in a world where it is estimated that 90% of the population may experience trauma. Your lead trainer is a certified Yoga Therapist, with e tensive experience in yoga practice and study. You will gain an incredible toolkit for yoga practice and teaching, with the potential for a fulfilling career as a Yoga Teacher.
  • Where does this Yoga Teacher Training take place?
    Oisterwijk is known for its beautiful town center with the largest terraces, offering a variety of restaurants and cafes with delicious menus. The serenity and tranquility can be found not only in the town center but especially in the surrounding forests, which offer a variety of walking and cycling paths to help you ground and connect with nature. Should you want to feel the hustle and bustle of a bigger city, Tilburg, Den Bosch, and Eindhoven are just a short train or bus ride away. Oisterwijk is centrally located for easy access, being only 20 minutes from Eindhoven Airport, 60 minutes from Brussels Airport, and featuring a train station in the town center with access to train transport throughout the Netherlands.
  • Can I complete the 200hr Yoga Teacher Training online?
    No, it is not possible to complete this training online. As this is often the first Yoga Teacher Training that a person embarks on, the in-person element is fundamental to being able to teach yoga in a safe, confident, trauma-informed and intelligent manner. During the training, we look in-depth at the individuality of every person’s body, we learn to read facial expressions and breathing patterns. And we realize how important it is to give correct hands-on assists and adjustments. The Yoga Therapy Institute firmly believes that an in-person experience for a first Yoga Teacher Training is invaluable, and will also make you stand out as a highly capable Yoga Teacher. (It is also important to note that many yoga studios do not hire yoga teachers who have completed a fully online Yoga Teacher Training).
  • What styles of yoga can I teach after this training?
    You will learn how to teach Hatha Yoga classes and gentle Flow Yoga classes, all through a Trauma-Informed perspective. These are some of the most upcoming and popular styles in today's modern world. You will also be introduced to the key concepts of Restorative Yoga, adapting yoga for pregnancy, leading yoga classes for the older population, and Yoga Therapy.
  • Will I be confident enough to teach yoga classes after this training?
    Yes! This training focuses on teaching you how to confidently lead yoga classes. You will practice teaching fellow students and receive feedback from trainers. A specific methodology will be provided to guide you in instructing yoga classes effectively.
  • How do I know if I'm ready to be a Yoga Teacher?
    Starting the journey to become a yoga teacher is exciting, and sometimes a little bit scary! If you have a love for yoga, and a desire to know more about it, then a Yoga Teacher Training can be a great way to learn. In this Yoga Teacher Training, we place extra emphasis on supporting your personal practice, and also teaching you how to lead a class in a confident and authentic manner. You’ll learn about yoga poses (asana), but also breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation. You will gain a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy, through exploring key historical texts through a contemporary lens. And what is unique about our Yoga Teacher Training is that all of our classes incorporate a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach.
  • What level of experience do I need?
    We require applicants to have a dedicated yoga practice of at least one year (or 5 classes) prior to starting their 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. It is not necessary to be able to do ‘advanced’ asanas (poses), but a familiarity with a variety of asanas, and some experience as a student in a yoga class is ideal. The purpose of the training is to refine your practice and also show you how to teach or share yoga with others in a safe and confident manner. During the training we will certainly explore a few challenging poses, but the goal will be to understand the pose, and not perform the pose!
  • Is this training Yoga Alliance certified?
    Yes, we are a Yoga Alliance certified training (RYS200).
  • What style of Yoga do you teach in this training?
    By the end of this training you will be able to comfortably and confidently teach Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. We explore yoga through the idea of ‘the pose is made to fit the person, rather than the person is made to fit the pose’. We look at endless variations, and also explore the benefits and contraindications for each pose. You will also learn how to teach Pranayama (breathing) techniques.
  • Do you have payment plans?
